“The test for me was the reaction of the employees when I rolled the course out. It was refreshing to hear comments about how enjoyable the course was, and how people felt they had learnt a lot from the content. The course content was well laid out and easy to understand with clear instructions on how to navigate through the modules – a great success that was well received by everyone who took part.”

The GDPR states that organisations must provide staff awareness training and education. If you are reported or suffer a data breach, it’s possible the supervisory authority (the ICO (Information Commissioner’s Office) in the UK) will want to see records of your staff training programme. It is crucial that staff understand the GDPR, and are aware of the key changes and how the Regulation affects them and the way they work. With significant fines stipulated for non-compliance, organisations must not overlook this key requirement.
The GRC eLearning LMS makes fulfilling this requirement easy – simply log in to the system to view which staff have taken the training and the exam – you can even view their pass mark.
